With the ZILOS-tk, an electrical connection is used that allows the placement of the laser power detector inside the laser objective module, so that laser power is measured at the base of the objective. Thus, you know for certain that the laser power being delivered to the objective base is uncompromised.

The ZILOS-tk is the ONLY laser system that does not require the insertion of a system component in the epifluorescent port. Since the only ZILOS-tk component installed on the microscope is the turret-based laser module, all you need to do to use fluorescence is to rotate the turret!
