Applications of Stiletto Laser

Cell Ablation

By applying the laser pulses within the selected areas, unwanted cell areas are quickly obliterated. The Stilleto allows you to designate multiple areas targeted for abaltion. The motorized stage automatically moves from area to area and the laser is applied to ablate the unwanted cells.

Colony Scoring

By applying the laser pulses in a crosshatch pattern within the selected areas, cell colonies are quickly segmented for propogation. Users may designated the size of resulting sections. The image belows shows the scoring of a stem cell colony using the Stiletto.
